Two counties near Dayton have been collecting aluminum can tabs for months in honor of America Recycles Day and to raise recycling awareness and benefit an important cause.

The City of Dayton has set a goal for its residents: Recycle 2 million pounds per month, and spare southwest Ohio’s landfills.
